My journey into nature photography began in the study and appreciation of macro photography of the insects world. Understanding and studying both the interaction of natural light and artificial lighting and how to utilize it to the fullest to bring out the great natural colors of nature is the secret to achieving great results.
Taking control of both exposure and lighting while concurrently interacting with the flora and fauna in the field demands a great amount of concentration and patience. All that is learned in this field of photography has great usage in the other fields of photography.
